BEST-EVER FRIED CHICKEN :)

Hello Folks,

Chicken is always my favourite and this fried chicken is crispy,juicy and perfectly seasoned.I have only used chicken drumsticks for this.Crispy and crunchy on the outer coating and moist,juicy from within.



INGREDIENTS:

1.Chicken drumsticks: 6peices
2.Egg:1
3.Cornflour:3tspn
4.All purpose flour:2tspn
5.Salt:2
6. Kashmiri lal mirch:2tspn
7.Ginger garlic paste:3tspn
8.Curd:3tspn
9.Lemon juice:1
10.Black pepper powder:1tspn
11.Dhaniya powder:1.5tspn
12.Jeera powder:1/2tspn
13.Red pepper powder:1tspn
14.Garam masala:1tspn
15.Kasuri methi:1tspn
16.Oil: frying the chicken

STEPS:

1.Wash the chicken properly with water and with knife,slightly cut the peices on both sides.
2.In a bowl,add chicken peices with 1 tspn of salt (This process is called BRINE,which makes chicken soft and juicy) & put in a refrigerator for minimum 1hour.
3.After an hour,wash your chicken properly with plain water.
4.For 1st marination,add chicken drumsticks in a bowl with 2tspn of ginger garlic paste,1tspn of salt & 1 lemon juice.Leave this for 30mins.


5.For 2nd marination,add all spices (1tspn of red pepper powder,1.5tspn of dhaniya powder,1/2 tspn jeera powder,1tspn black pepper powder,1tspn garam masala,1tspn kasuri methi), 3tspn of curd,1 egg and mix well.


6.To add color to the chicken,add kashmiri lal mirch powder and massage all the mixture well.
7.To make batter thick & better binding,add cornflour and all purpose flour and refrigerate for 30mins.
8.Take kadai,and put oil on medium high flame.
9.Add chicken into the kadai and cook for 1mins on high flame.



10.After a min,cover the kadai with a lid and flame on medium for 10mins.
11.Now remove the chicken from kadai and rest for 15mins.
12.After 15mins,put kadai on superrrrr high,again add chicken peices & cook for only 2mins.
This step will give crisp to the chicken.



Fried chicken is ready.Squeeze some lemon and enjoyyyyy.

TIPS:
1.Covering the kadai with lid,ensures properly frying of chicken.
2.Curd shouldn't have water in it.
3.Never fill kadai too much with oil.
