Beetroot Parantha( Or My Red parantha)
Hello everyone,
A tasty and easy parantha recipe made from Beetroot (Chukandar).This recipe is very quick and hassle free to add beetroot in your diet and tastes yummmm♥️.
These are good to serve in a breakfast or in lunch.The lush red color is so eye pleasing. Have a look guys:
- Beetroot is a root vegetable enriched with various nutrients,which helps in lowering blood pressure,boosting energy.Beetroots are also called blood turnips.They are low in sodium and fat and also support mental and emotional health.
Ingredients:
1. Wheat flour: 1 cup
2. Beetroot: 1 piece
3. Onion: 1/2
4. Coriander leaves: 2 tspn
5. Salt: as per taste
6. Black pepper: 1/4 tspn
7. Garam masala: 1/4 tspn
8. Jeera powder: 1/4 tspn
9. Amchoor or Anardana powder: 1/2tspn
10.Green chilly: As per taste
11.Water:if required
12. Dhaniya powder: 1/2 tspn
Procedure:
1. First of all,grind beetroot in a mixer and make its paste.
2. Then add beetroot paste in a bowl and add wheat flour,onion,coriander leaves and all masalas.
3. Mix all ingredients well and make a nice dough while kneading it nicely.
4. Add water if required.
5. Take small amount of dough and make round roti.
6. Pre-heat tawa or non stick pan and transfer parantha on it.
7. Cook from both sides with ghee or oil.
8.Serve this parantha with curd/ fresh butter/ pickle or even with jeera aalo.
Tips:
1. Add water only if required.
2.If you like spinach,add 1/4 cup of spinach too.They both taste yummmmm together.Trust me.
3.Best part is,you can enjoy this either as a parantha or roti.
