Banana Bread (without oven)

Hello everyone,

Bananas are one of the most popular fruit in the world.One banana is a wholesome meal,packed with various health benefits: good source of potassium, may lower blood pressure,good for digestive system and many more.

I personally love banana and usually use them in making shakes & pancakes.

Today I've 2 bananas at home which were over ripped and can't be eaten just like that so I thought to  bake bread  and utilising those bananas.
This recipe is easy yet so moist,soft and delicious and yes,NO MAIDA. The almond & walnut will add crunch to this bread.

INGREDIENTS:

1.Banana: 2 (ripped)
2.Whole wheat flour: 2 cups 
3.Jaggery powder/Shakar :1/3 cup
4.Eggs: 2
5.Vanilla essence: 1 tspn
6.Baking powder: 1 tspn
7.Baking soda:1/2 tspn
8.Chopped nuts: 1/4 cup
9.Cinnamon powder: 1 tspn
10.Ginger powder:1/2 tspn (optional)
11.Melted butter/oil/coconut oil: 1/2 cup
12.Milk: 1/2 cup

STEPS:

1.In a large bowl,sieve flour, baking powder,baking soda,cinnamon powder and ginger powder, mix well and set this bowl aside.


2.In a mixer,add chopped bananas,eggs, butter/oil,jaggery powder,vanilla essence and milk.Mix all these ingredients properly in a mixer.Transfer this thick batter into another bowl.



3.Now,add dry ingredients into wet ingredients slowly slowly and mix,mix,mix with spatula.


4.Add chopped nuts into the batter.
5.At this time,put pressure cooker on gas with stand and pre heat for 5 mins side by side.
6.Take baking mould,grease with butter and dust 2 tspn of flour and spread all over the mould.(I don't have loaf pan so used normal mould)


7.Pour all the ready batter into the greased mould and tap it twice.
8.Also,add chopped almonds on top of it.


9.Put the mould into the heated pressure cooker ( jugard vala oven) and cover it  with lid (Remove rubber and whistle).
10.Cook on low-medium flame for 35-40 mins.
11.Check after 35 mins,by inserting toothpick.If it comes clean,your bread is ready...voila !!
12.Take the mould out and let it sit for 25mins before de moulding it.
13.Cut the bread into slices and enjoy it as such or spread nutella/any nut butter on it.



TIPS:

1.Batter should be slightly thick as compared to cake batter.
2.Never over mix the bread mixture.
3.My bread took 47-50 mins.It depends on your gas stove also.Its advisable to check cake after 35 mins.
4.For oven,bake it at 180 degree calcium for 35-40 mins.
5.ALWAYS ADD DRY INGREDIENTS INTO WET INGREDIENTS.
