Sprouts Channa Salad🍜
Hello everyone,
In this lockdown time,we all are quite lazy, sleeping late and getting up late in the morning.
So,I thought of a recipe which is quick and also, protein rich.Yes,what you have to do in advance is: made some green moong dal sprouts at home(which is quite simple) and boiled channa (you can use black channa and rajma too) and store in a fridge in air tight container and use whenever you want to eat.Even munch on them, when you feel hungry in the evening.
Legumes are essential part of our diet and also packed with proteins. Also,Sprouts (raw legumes) are rich in digestible energy, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins, and these nutrients are essential to human health.
Ingredients:
1.Moong dal sprouts: 1/2 cup
2.White channa boiled:1/2 cup
3.lemon juice: 1tspn
4.Chopped onion: 1/4 cup
5.Chopped tomato: 1/4 cup
6.Coriander leaves:1/4 cup
7.Black salt/ Himalayan pink salt: 1/2 tspn or according to taste
8.Black pepper powder: 1/2 tspn
9.Chat masala: 1/2 tspn
10.Paneer or tofu: optional
11.Beetroot:1/4 cup
11.Beetroot:1/4 cup
Steps:
1.Add moong dal sprouts and channa in a bowl.
2.Now add all the ingredients and mix well. That's it.We are done.
Tips:
1.You can add paneer or tofu.
2.Pomegranate seeds tastes yumm in this salad.
3.I always soak my sprouts in warm water for 5-7mins,before using them.I personally don't like them raw.
4.You can add homemade imli and pudina chutney,if you can't eat without ketchup. Trust me,homemade chutney are best and enhances all flavours.
5.Other day,I made sprouts with sautee veggies (carrot,beans,peas) , onion, tomato,lemon juice,salt,pepper and mili chutney.Tooo good 🤗
6.Also,you can add boiled egg in this salad.
Hope you will like this simple recipe and yes,do try at home.
